Competition Integrity

The Standard That Makes the Leaderboard Mean Something.

The Circuit's competition rules exist for one reason: to ensure that every ranking reflects real skill. These are not restrictions on how you trade. They are the standards that protect the value of every position on the leaderboard - yours included.

Your Strategy Is Yours. The Standard Is Shared.

The Trade your strategy. We'll protect the competition.

The Circuit does not prescribe how you trade. Our standards exist to ensure every leaderboard position reflects genuine performance under the same competitive conditions.

Competition standards may evolve as The Circuit grows. Any material changes will be published before they apply to future competitions and will never be introduced during an active competition.

Different approaches, one standard
  • Scalping
  • Swing trading
  • News trading
  • Another legitimate approach

The same competitive conditions

The Six Competition Standards

  1. 01

    Activity

A qualifying score should reflect meaningful trading activity, not a single outcome.

Every competition has published activity requirements designed to ensure leaderboard positions reflect sustained performance over the competition window. The applicable requirements are published before registration opens for each competition.

  2. 02

    Risk Conduct

Strong performance includes disciplined risk management.

The Circuit recognizes different approaches to managing risk. Our standards reward consistent execution and may invalidate behavior that places excessive emphasis on a single outcome rather than sustained trading performance.

  3. 03

    Strategy Freedom

Different trading styles should compete on the same field.

The Circuit does not approve or prohibit strategies by name. We evaluate behaviors that compromise competition fairness, not whether you scalp, swing trade, trade news, or use another legitimate approach.

  4. 04

    Independent Performance

Every leaderboard position should represent one competitor.

Each competitor may participate using one verified identity. Where multiple Circuit Runs are permitted, every attempt must be completed through the same verified account. Duplicate accounts, account sharing, or coordinated attempts to influence leaderboard outcomes are not permitted.

  5. 05

    Platform Integrity

Compete against the market, not the platform.

Eligible scores must result from genuine market participation. Attempts to exploit technical issues, platform behavior, pricing anomalies, or competition mechanics may result in a score being deemed ineligible for official ranking.

  6. 06

    Score Verification

Official rankings are verified before they are confirmed.

Before results become official, top-ranked competitors complete a standard verification process. This includes identity confirmation, score validation, and a review of competition activity against The Circuit's published standards.

Every score is evaluated against all six standards.
  • Activity
  • Risk Conduct
  • Strategy Freedom
  • Independent Performance
  • Platform Integrity
  • Score Verification

How We Handle Standards Violations

If a competition score does not meet one or more of the six standards above, it will not qualify for official ranking. The entry fee is not refunded for disqualified entries, competition entry carries the assumption that the participant will compete within the published standards.

Where a standards violation affects only one entry in a competition, the remaining field is unaffected. Verified rankings stand. Where a violation is identified that materially affects the integrity of an entire competition, The Circuit will review the competition result and communicate with all participants directly.

The Circuit's full competition terms, including detailed threshold specifications and the complete disqualification process, are published in the Competition Terms document available before each competition opens.

What happens when a score does not meet a standard
  1. Step 1

It will not qualify for official ranking.

  2. Step 2 — scope is assessed

    Affects one entry

The remaining field is unaffected. Verified rankings stand.

    Affects the competition

The Circuit will review the competition result and communicate with all participants directly.

Rules We Publish

  1. Ranking is by verified trading score. In Blitz, your best verified score counts.
  2. Blitz runs 72 market hours from your own start. The timer pauses when the market is closed.
  3. Each Circuit has a minimum number of entries.
  4. If the minimum is not reached by the registration close, the Circuit is cancelled and every paid entry is refunded in full. Free codes are returned and valid for the next Competitive Circuit.
  5. Prizes are credited within 72 hours of the Circuit closing, after a review of the top 3.
  6. Partner accounts appear on boards but are skipped for prizes in Blitz and Competitive. They can win in Championship.
  7. Circuit settings are locked once registration opens.

All Competition Activity Occurs on Simulated Accounts.

Every competition on The Circuit uses simulated accounts running on real market data. No participant's capital is deployed in live markets at any stage. The Circuit is a skill-based competition platform — not a brokerage, prop trading firm, or financial services provider. Competition prizes are awarded on the basis of ranked performance in a simulated competition environment according to published rules.
